POP UP gallery show of new work from my recent trip to Thailand and Hong Kong. Photographs, drawings and paintings influenced by the architecture and culture of Bangkok, Pattaya and Hong Kong.
Will be showing alongside Jason O'Hara's photographs of the trip as well as local artist Lianne Carter and photographer Ryan Gillespie.

Installations
"Things I did when no one was looking" Installation at 54 Mint plaza with Proto-inc
This installation transformed a vacant restaurant space with no wall space or lighting into a temporary gallery. New partitions were clad in bubble wrap, 40,000 cells of which were injected with diluted ink. With new lighting attached to the partition,the reflective, iridescent wall itself illuminated the entire space. A novel version of the wet wall, the bubble wrap invited poking and prodding, rippling with every disturbance. Although it invited comparisons to pixels and methods of algorithmic digital composition, the project was done with entirely dumb-tech analog means: as one observer explained, “it’s just bubble wrap, dude."
